Pastor Howard Simon took up Pastorship of the 1st District of Seventh-day Adventists in Tortola, British Virgin Islands along with his family in November 2005.  This is also when he became pastor of the Carrot Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church. Prior to coming to the BVI, Pastor Simon worked in his hometown of Antigua.

Pastor Simon is married to the lovely Michelle Simon and the couple has two children – Yael and Yazel.  

Pastor Simon graduated from the formerly known Caribbean Union College (now University of the Caribbean Union) in Trinidad with a Theology degree. He later earned his Masters in Educational Psychology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Pastor Simon has a passion for the written word and is an avid reader and writer. And since coming to the BVI he has authored   his first book: Achieving Excellence  - 101 Life-Changing Principles of Greatness. He is currently working on his second. book, a compilation of poems
